Approval Process

Overview

An approval process is a structured workflow used to review and authorize requests, actions before they are finalized or implemented. It ensures that the right people review and approve items based on predefined rules or roles.

Approval requests can be triggered for the following actions:

  • Create: Paid subscriptions, Trial subscriptions

  • Changes: Subscription quantity, enabling/disabling add-ons, and add-on quantity

  • Upgrades - Subscription full upgrades, subscription partial upgrades

  • Renewals - Subscription renewal settings changes

  • Cancels - Subscription cancellations

  • Price Threshold: When a subscription exceeds the defined threshold.

Managing Approval Requests

Managing the approval requests is a controlled by user role permissions. The admins are able to view and decide on all approval requests. Other users are able to decide on approvals related to Organizations assigned to them.

Approval triggers management is the key to a controlled self-service. This allows you to set granular actions and conditions that would trigger the approval process. You can do this on a per-customer basis.
