Broker Onboarding Guide

Overview

The Broker Onboarding Guide provides step-by-step instructions to help new brokers get started on the platform.

1. Getting your admin login credentials

  • Your Cloudmore Account Manager will provide you with the necessary admin login credentials to access your Broker account.

  • These credentials are typically shared during the onboarding process or upon request.

  • Make sure to store them securely, as they grant access to key administrative features.

  • If you haven’t received them yet, please reach out to your Account Manager directly for assistance.

2. Inviting your colleagues to Cloudmore

Inviting colleagues to Cloudmore helps distribute responsibilities and streamline operations within your organization.

  • Different user roles come with varying levels of access and permissions, allowing you to assign tasks appropriately based on each team member’s responsibilities.

  • This ensures secure and efficient management of services and settings.

The Broker User Management provides detailed instructions on how to invite users and assign roles.

Using Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) simplifies login, enhances security, and provides a seamless access experience for all invited users.

3. Adding Microsoft services

To start using Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365 or Azure, you need to add them from the Marketplace. The process involves searching for the service, adding it, and then configuring it as needed.

The Microsoft 365 CSP Service provides detailed steps and guidance on adding Microsoft services.

4. Linking Microsoft tenants as customers

Linking Microsoft tenants allows brokers to onboard organizations as customers and manage their Microsoft services through Cloudmore. This step is essential for enabling service provisioning, subscription management, and billing. Each tenant must be correctly linked to ensure seamless integration and access to Microsoft services.

The Microsoft Customer Tenants provides detailed instructions on how to link tenants as customers.

5. Synchronizing subscriptions and billing

As part of the Microsoft Tenant linking process, Cloudmore automatically synchronizes the tenant’s existing subscriptions and billing data. This ensures that all active services are visible and manageable within the platform, allowing for accurate reporting and streamlined billing operations. Any changes made within Microsoft will be reflected in Cloudmore, helping maintain consistency and reducing manual effort.

6. Setting up your pricing and offers

As a Broker, you can set default pricing for all organizations or customize pricing for individual customers. This enables you to offer flexible deals tailored to your business needs. Setting up pricing correctly ensures smooth billing and service management.
The Price List provides more details related to pricing and offers.

7. Configuring security and login

Cloudmore ensures that only authorized users can access and manage pricing settings at both the Broker and Organization levels.

Role-based access controls help prevent unauthorized changes by assigning specific permissions to different user roles. All actions are logged for transparency and auditing, helping maintain accountability.

The Broker Security Centre provides more information related to the security and login.
