Language & Localization (5.0)

Overview

This document explains how to change the language you see on the Cloudmore platform.

It also lists the languages Cloudmore is translated into.

Language is a per-user choice. Each user picks their own language. The choice applies everywhere that user goes in the platform.

VERIFY Whether a broker can set a default language for its users. There is no language field on Settings > Properties in 5.0. That screen has a Default currency field, but no equivalent for language.

Benefits

  • Seamless experience: Each user reads the platform in the language they chose.

  • User convenience: The picker sits in the header on every page. You can change language at any time.

Changing your language

  1. Look at the top right of the header. The language picker shows the two-letter code for your current language, for example EN.

  2. Click the code to open the list.

  3. Select a language. A check mark shows which language is active.

The picker sits between the feedback button and your user menu.

VERIFY Whether the platform remembers your language after you sign out and back in. The 4.x article stated that it does. This was not re-tested in 5.0, because testing it means changing a setting.
