Adding the Microsoft Azure Service

Overview

This document provides instructions for adding the Microsoft Azure Service from the Marketplace, both as a Broker and as an Organization. It outlines the steps to locate and add the service, and briefly describes what can be managed afterward.

Having the Microsoft Azure service added for an Organization is required for the Azure billing to show up in the Billing Report.

Refer to the Microsoft Tenant Authentication to complete the prerequisites.

Adding Microsoft Azure Service from the Marketplace as a Broker

1. Log in to the Broker Account.

2. Navigate to the Marketplace and search for Microsoft Azure Service.

   

3. Click on Add Service to complete the process.

   

4. Complete the service agreement by selecting the target audience and accepting the terms. Then click on Sign Agreement.

   

5. After adding the service, broker admins can manage its configuration and availability at the Broker level.

Adding Microsoft Azure Service from the Marketplace for an Organization

1. Log in to the Organization Account (or navigate under the Organization as Broker)

2. Navigate to the E-Store and search for the Microsoft Azure service.

   

3. Click Add Service to complete the process.

   

4. Click on Add Service to complete the Service Agreement.

   

5. Once this process is completed, you can proceed to manage subscriptions to the service.

Bulk Adding the Microsoft Azure Service to Organizations

As a Broker, you can add the Microsoft Azure service to several of your customers, all at once.

This bulk action allows you to easily link all unlinked tenants and simultaneously add the service along with it.

To do that, navigate to My Services → Microsoft 365 CSP Direct → Link Tenant To Organization → Scroll down and click “Bulk link Microsoft Azure”.

This will open a window with a couple of options for bulk linking:

Description of various options for tenants to link:

1. Link all unlinked tenants: Adds the Azure service to all Organizations that don’t have it added yet, regardless of whether they have any Azure subscriptions or billing.

2. Link unlinked tenants with Azure Billing: Automatically adds the service to all Microsoft tenants who had at least one billing line in the most recent Microsoft invoice.

3. Link Specific Tenants: Allows you to add the Azure service to specific Organizations of your choice that don't have the Microsoft Azure service added yet.

Bulk adding the service automatically signs the service agreement with all the Microsoft Tenants too.
