Datto Autotask users can export Microsoft billing report data to Autotask. The integration automatically exports subscriptions from the billing report four days after the report becomes available in Cloudmore.
Cloudmore and Autotask Terms
The table below outlines key Cloudmore terms and their corresponding terms in Datto Autotask:
Cloudmore Term | Autotask Equivalent | Exported |
|---|---|---|
Organization | Account/Company | No |
Product | Product | Yes |
Subscription | Contract | Yes |
Billing Report Line Item | ContractCharge | Yes |
What Cloudmore Exports and Does Not Export
Organizations in Cloudmore are not synchronized, so a manual process is required to keep them synchronized.
Microsoft 365 products are created in Autotask during the export, using broker-level pricing, if the products appear on the Microsoft billing report.
Reserved Instances, Marketplace items, Software Subscriptions, and Perpetual Licenses are not exported as individual products. Instead, one consolidated product for each type is created in Autotask, with the product name used for the Contract name and the SKU name used for the Contract Charge.
All Contract Charges contain only one line item.
If a subscription has multiple billing line items, all costs and sales are summed up. For license-based subscriptions, the largest quantity from the lines is used. For Azure plans a quantity of 1 is used.
